This is NO Illy!
My husband and I ran out of Illy and decided to give the Alessi decaf espresso a try since it was much cheaper… what a mistake! It was REALLY bad. No comparison whatsoever to the Illy decaf we’d had before. So we threw out the one can we’d opened, and I think I’ll donate the other cans. What a big disappointment… we’re back to the Illy now.

A Great Product
This coffee is comparable to Illy which I also love.
I needed a Decaf so I bought Alessi at my local grocery, however, it is much cheaper here!!
Full-bodied, Rich and Smooth
All I drink is decaf and I’ve tried several brands; Alessi is right at the top of my favorites list. It’s full-bodied, rich and smooth. A nice espresso that tastes wonderful. I have tried Illy and do like that coffee, as well, but it isn’t as full-bodied as Alessi, for me. Different strokes for different folks and this brand strokes my palette, wonderfully.
I have found this to be an excellent decaf espresso. I make it in a Bialetti stove-top coffee maker, or, when we have guests who are not espresso types, we make it in a coffee-filter drip machine. People like it. You can’t tell it’s decaf–until you go to bed. You sleep.
Full-bodied robust coffee is delicious!
This Alessi decafeinated expresso is perfectly wonderful. It makes a very nice expresso, but if you love strong coffee, it is also very good as regular coffee. Just measure it as you would any other coffee and use it in your automatic drip coffee maker or French Press. You won’t be disappointed in this product.
I have used Alessi Decaffenated Caffe’Expresso for years. It is sometimes difficult to find at local gracery stores and specility coffee stores are far too expensive. It makes great expresso and excellent caffe’ latte. The price on Amazon is excellent. I buy it in a pack of six and price is even better.
The Best Coffe Around
If you want great great tasting coffee than look no farther. I use this in a MoccaMaster coffee maker. You will use less coffee than with regular ground coffee. You can use it to make espresso strength coffee then add your favorite flavoring or ice cream. I buy both Decaf and Regular. I will not drink any other coffee now!
Alessi Coffee Suits coffee lovers
Alessi coffees bring a little Italy to our home. They are great. We enjoy mid morning and mid afternoon coffee time. We brew two pots; one regular and one decaf and we can both relax with the finest of coffees.
