Tea tastes nothing like chocolate or white chocolate. No wonder you can’t find it to buy it in stores. It isn’t very good.

I’m starting to doubt the legitimacy of reviews for Bigelow teas. This is the fourth (and last) tea from this company I’ll ever purchase, no matter how enticing it is. Like the other flavors I tried, I really gave it a fair shake, brewing up several cups and sharing with friends. We came up with the same, insipid black tea with a bizarre chemical-like smell to it each any every time. None of us could detect anything remotely similar to white chocolate, or much of anything save for a hint of cinnamon. Might be best to try one box first.
Smells and tastes like freshly baked white chocolate fudge. One thing to be aware of is that the tea bags are unevenly flavored. Some of them taste very strong and some rather weak while most of them are in between.
I absolutely love this tea piping hot & with a dash of cream! The chocolate flavor is wonderful & strong, the cream rounds it out and makes it smooth.
This is a great tea for those watching their weight, but still longing for something sweet.
I love to drink this tea all winter long (and even during the summer!), and it goes wonderfully with a few shortbread cookies.
Hands down the BEST chocolate tea I’ve ever tried! (and I’ve tried a LOT!)
I LOVE this tea. It tastes like Hersheys kisses with a mild white chocolate flavor. It gives me a real “pick me up” when I drink it.
I thought this might end up like the time I tried chocolate yogurt (nasty!), however, I was pleasantly surprised. This zero calorie black tea has a strong chocolate flavor and smell. Something’s odd about it though, almost a chemical smell. Chocolate without cream and sugar was bound to be odd! Still, I’m on my 3rd cup. It’s not the worst tea in the cabinet, but not the best. I’m impressed that Bigelow (known for cheap office tea) pulled off this flavor.
I am not a big tea drinker, although I know that I should be, for health reasons.
I got a sample packet of this tea from someone at work and gave it a try. It is REALLY GOOD!!
If you like the taste of chocolate, you will like this.
I liked it so much that I put it on a 6-month auto ship.

White Chocolate Obsession is a blend of chocolate and robust black tea. I love this tea with milk and Stevia. It also has cinnamon and carob in it. I can definitely taste the carob and black tea more than anything else. If you love tea and you love chocolate you will probably love this tea.

My mouth watered as I eagerly anticipated ordering this, just thinking of what it could taste like. I am a heavy drinker of Bigelow’s Eggnog’n tea. So I couldn’t even guess what this could taste like. I received the package and eagerly brewed a cup and overall was pleased, but it didn’t taste how I had imagined. I noticed in another review that they said it tasted a bit like “chemicals.” For the first bag I could see where they would interpret a certain aftertaste to be somewhat like a chemical, but I have not since. After a few cups (not one after another, mind you) throughout a couple weeks it just tastes like some sort of hot chocolate. Even looks that way when I add a bit of soymilk and sugar.
Overall I give it a 3.5. Its not amazing. It’s not bad. I suppose I just don’t have acute tasting skills, but I honestly don’t differentiate it too much from a cup of hot chocolate. I actually did put a bag in a cup of hot chocolate and it was definitely a chocolaty heaven. All in all it’s good. I’m sure I’ll go through all 6 boxes eventually, but I can’t say that I’ll be ordering more after that. As for the eggnog’n, however, that’s an entirely different story 🙂
If you’re debating on this, I say order a small box to give it a try, then graduate to the 6-box package if you’re blown away.
this product did not meet my tastes. i expected more and actually hated the taste, but i am a very picky person, it is worth a try
This is a full bodied tea with a great chocolate taste. It is not over powering
but a mellow blend of tea, chocolate with the other spices undescernable
in the background.
I brewed it in my porcelain teapot for 3 minutes. Trying with and without cream,
I found I liked it both ways. Great for that afternoon pick me up.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I drink 1 or 2 pots of this tea EVERY day 🙂 Doesn’t even need sweetener. It’s so DEE-LISH! I drink a pretty wide variety of teas, but this is my #1. Hope you like it as much as I so.
Excellent tea, unlike most teas, full of flavor, like luxury Hot Chocolate without the thickness, heaviness AND calories! Wonderful tea. It’s as good as a sweet treat!

I have been following a low fat no carb diet and craved something sweet after dinner. This definitely does the trick with a little Stevia to sweeten. I would recommend this to anyone trying to cut calories but want dessert.
This tea is very good.
Smells wonderful !
I love to sip on tea when watching T.V. in the evening – and this one will be a favorite flavor of mine.

I think this tea is outstanding, but I’m not a traditional tea drinker. It’s probably already sweet to most people, but I add a packet of Splenda and some Almond Joy creamer to it. Liquid candy bar I call it, with very few calories!
This one smells like hot chocolate and has a nice cocoa flavor. I drink it unsweetened but it is good with milk and sweetener too. I alternate this one with the Pumpkin Spice which has a bit more of a bite. This chocolate tea has a nice mellow flavor and goes great during the cooler fall/winter and early spring months. I have made iced tea with it as well that isn’t bad, although I prefer Raspberry Royale for iced tea because it’s more subtle. But this one isn’t bad for iced tea when you’re in the mood for something with a cocoa flavor. Good stuff.
This is the best chocolate tea I’ve ever had. I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate so I was skeptical initially, but I don’t think it tastes like white chocolate particularly, just a great chocolate flavor. Add cream & sugar!
ABSOLUTELY stunning tea! It’s delicious! It’s the perfect, warm, hearty start to the day! It’s so rich that it doesn’t need ANY sweeteners or milk… it’s perfect wonderful with just hot water. Also, this is an extremely good deal! Individual boxes such as these typically run around $3.50 but buying 6 of them… they come in at a whole $1 less! Bigelow needs to hire me as their brand ambassador because I have been selling this tea to everyone who I come in contact with! ha ha.
