So much has changed since the first Ferrara candy rolled off the line and into stores in 1908. But the same creativity and innovation that fed those early years remains at the heart of our company. In fact, it’s what has made us the number one non-chocolate candy manufacturer in the U.S. We’ve got a sweet history — but an even richer opportunity for future growth and success is right at our doorstep. Our mission is to take the brands that have been loved for generations to the next level. In 2012 we brought together brands like Trolli, Brach’s, Black Forest, Now & Later and Lemonhead. We’re continuously innovating to bring the best-tasting, highest-quality confections to the marketplace. Celebrate the momentous. Celebrate the obvious. Celebrate the frivolous. No matter what happens in life, there’s always a reason to break out the Brach’s.
- Butterscotch sugar free candy
- Rich buttery, creamy flavor
- Sweetened with Splenda
- Half the calories of regular butterscotch hard candy
- America’s candy maker since 1904
Since I cut back on sugar, I stopped buying sugar-filled hard candies. Brach’s Butterscotch was one of my favorites. To me, Brach’s is one of the best brands of hard candy and candy corn out there that I use its products as a yard stick. None of the local stores carry the sugar free Brach’s Butterscotch. So I took a risk in ordering a box of 12 because I couldn’t find any online store that sold it in individual packs without ridiculous shipping fees. \
The first time I had one of these, I wasn’t sure I liked them. I figured my tastebuds remembered the originals and needed a little time to adjust. Over time, I grew to love these and don’t miss the originals.
A word of warning: These have sugar alcohol in them, so they can irritate the stomach or cause gas pains. If Brach’s tries to make them a different way without the sugar alcohol, it probably won’t taste as good. The advantage of this, however, is that it helps you from eating too many knowing this could happen. I never eat more than four pieces a day (three pieces makes a serving for 35 calories!).
Each candy is the same size as the originals — about the size of a quarter on the outside and a thickness of about a stack of 5 quarters. They taste like a mix of buttery salty flavors.
This is the best sugar-free butterscotch candy ever made. I have been a diabetic for over forty years and I used to love the regular Brach’s butterscotch candy when I was a kid. This tastes every bit as good as the old Brach’s butterscotch candy with one exception…THIS IS SUGAR-FREE! If you are a diabetic, do yourself a big favor and buy this outstanding sugar-free candy. YOU WILL LOVE IT! Thank you Brach’s. A++++++++++++++++.
I buy this product for my husband. It’s the only hard candy he likes, and local stores have discontinued it. I finally found it here at Amazon.com at a very reasonable price. I was so happy to find it, and it’s very convenient to order it online and have it delivered to my house in a reasonable length of time. Hopefully, I will be able to continue to get the Brach’s Sugar Free Butterscotch hard candy from Amazon.com for a very long time.
This is a very tasty hard candy. If you have to, (or simply want to), restrict your sugar intake, I highly recommend it.
Doesn’t taste like sugarfree candy at all. The best butterscotch taste of any I’ve tried. Would definitely buy again.
This candy is hard to find, not sold in retail stores, Amazon has a good price and they are dependable, wouldn’t have any other candy!
My husband, mom, and I LOVE these candies – taste as if they were made of sugar. YUMMMY!!!
All you diabetics this will do the trick – Excellent hard candy – I was pleasantly suprised by the flavor – reasonable cost – just don’t eat too many at one time
We love these candies. Probably the very best sugar free hard candy made. Try them you will love them. We sure do!
Tastes better than Brach’s regular hard butterscotch to me, and satisfies my occasional candy craving without ruining my weight loss plan.
I was so very bummed when Walgreen’s and CVS stopped stocking this! (For some, reason, they still stock the Brach’s S-F Cinnamon ones, which I detest, though my husband loves those.) Now, though it’s a drag to have to buy 12 at a time, I’m grateful that it’s still available.
