From humble beginnings Byron Bay Cookies were originally baked on an old farmhouse stove in the hills of Byron Bay, a small coastal hamlet on the most easterly point of Australia. With the region famous for it’s fresh ingredients and unique flavours, one of the original cookie flavours, white choc chunk & macadamia nut was developed using the local macadamia nuts and to this day remains one of the most popular flavours. With hundreds of thousands of cookies baked weekly Byron Bay Cookie Company now supply cafe gourmet food stores nationally as well David Jones, Qantas, Virgin Blue and Rex Airlines nationally, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, John Lewis and the Windsor Farm Shop in the UK as well as department stores in Singapore and Ireland. In September 2004 Byron Bay Cookie Company launched its gourmet savory collection. In 2006 Byron Bay Cookie Company opened it’s first retail outlet, Byron Bay Cookie Company Gourmet Foods which was developed to showcase our full range of products and to support regional manufacturers of gourmet foods with an emphasis on the Northern Rivers. Our region is synonymous with quality ingredients and artisan manufacturing. I really like the Byron Bay brand. These are great cookies and showed up in good shape (my second order of the Byron Bay Lemon Macadamia cookies showed up in PURE crumbs.) I highly recommend the Fig and Pecan variety; interesting taste; fairly dense texture. Hard to put down!
