The taste of caperberries depends on the time that they are harvested. Some harvests may be milder than capers, some may be stronger. Caperberries can be used as an alternative to olives in pasta salads.

Too good to stop eating
These are hard to find in your average grocery store especially at such a good price. If you have had the pleasure of a meal or appetizer with these caper berries, you are likely searching for them as I was. They are large, crisp and delicious just like the ones we have with our favorite restaurant’s anti-pasta appetizer. A great find at a great price.
No more olives in my martini!
This is a wonderful product! The two large jars arrived very quickly and were carefully packaged. The flavor is outstanding and gives a martini a new and different kick! I also use these for garnish on antipasto dishes, deviled eggs, chicken picata and other dishes. Great in salads as well. I couldn’t find these in my local grocery store. I’m happy to have found a source for them here.
Tasty but SALTY!
I have had no luck finding caperberries in local stores, even specialty shops, so was delighted to find them on Amazon. The jar just arrived (earlier than anticipated) and packed perfectly. I couldn’t wait to bite into my first one. It was juicy and crispy, but I was unprepared for the intense saltiness. I’ve had these before in restaurants but never this salty. Perhaps it is too early in the day, or my preference for low sodium foods, but I was slightly disappointed. However, the worst disappointment was the shipping cost — more than the product!
