USE YOUR HEAD – This is a LOT of seeds. The bucket is nice, though.

I like sunflower seeds. For example, last year, I bought a single “big” (about volume of a softball) bag of them at the beginning of my son’s lacrosse season to eat while spectating. Some 16 or so games later, I think I managed to finish the bag.

I just received a gift from a family member whom I love very, very much – a bucket of SIXTY-SIX packs of these seeds. Sixty-six bags of seeds that are “best if used by” October of this year. It may have been a gag of sorts…I just don’t know.

I would have to completely consume one bag every three days between now and October to finish them by the expiration. Forgetting about the fact that doing so would result in me [poop]ing myself inside-out for six-months straight, I can’t imagine how incredibly disgusting my teeth would end up.

I was quite relieved to see, from another reviewer, that they paid only about $15.00 USD for these at a bulk club – as opposed to the ~$50.00 USD prices I see listed here. I will make the assumption that my gift was purchased for a similar price and, then, feel less awful about finding a way to somehow get rid of them…give them away.

The bucket is nice, though. I’ve spent ~$2.50 USD at Home Depot to purchase buckets of similar quality and size. This bucket comes with a lid. Bonus.

5 stars for the item 0 for the price

This is $13.01 at SAMS. I purchased mine there. This will last me forever and it only cost me $13. Can’t argue with that.

Classic Favorite

Packages are the perfect size for back pocket. Bucket provides ample supply for a season. I’ll be buying again next spring.

Perfect for snacks

I LOVE sunflower seeds. Always have. Rather than waste half a large bag (They go bad fast in my house) I can just grab a snack sized one. The only problem I have with this is that I ordered two buckets, thats 120 packages, and they expire before the end of this year!!! I’m going to eat them later anyways, however I was expecting a later expiration date.

Delicious

One of the things I love about this is that you get each serving in its own packet so that they always taste fresh. I used to buy this at Sam’s Club but when they stopped offering it, I gladly found it on Amazon.

Great for a team or event

I purchased these sunflower seeds for my daughter’s softball team. They were a huge success! I recently saw the same item in the sporting goods store for about $10 more. We now use the bucket to hold wiffle balls that we purchased on Amazon. I recommend this product for anyone who needs multiple small packs of sunflower seeds for a team or an event.

Just what the team wanted

I manage a Senior Softball team and we play two games each day. Things were dragging as the games went on and my team took to these seeds like birds to a feeder!
