Okay, but not the best

This soup is okay, but not as good as some of the roasted red pepper tomato soups I have had in the past. Don’t be deceived by the box size. It is not one of the bigger boxes you buy at the store. They are about the height of a regular can of veggies.

Best tomato soup ever

This is the best tomato soup I have tasted, ever. It’s sweet and tomato-y and very well seasoned. I always hated tomato soup growing up, since I was fed that popular brand with the red label. Then one day I tried this, and was blown away. Low in calories, too!

Awesome

I have missed tomato soup since going gluten free. While this is no way at all like the canned tomato soup I like, this soup is awesome. The flavor is great and I use it to casseroles or just as a soup. Give this a try.

Makes a good enchilada sauce!

I am not reviewing this as a soup because I’m not a tomato soup person, but it does make a good enchilada sauce! I do not like buying prepared sauce, because they usually come in little cans that just don’t have enough product, and they are often made with ingredients that I don’t want. A food blogger shared a recipe for a “two ingredient enchilada sauce” (would love to give you the link here, but I’m not allowed!) that called for a box of roasted pepper and tomato soup, and a can of green chiles, mix them in a blender until smooth and done! The first time I made this soup-based enchilada sauce I didn’t have any green chiles, so I added a tablespoon of Bearitos Taco Seasoning, 1.4-Ounce Units (Pack of 12) instead. That’s how I make our enchilada sauces now and I will never go back to the canned stuff.

Yummmm!

This is my first experience with Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods. All I can say is , this one is my favorite. There is a goodly amount of very creamy, full-flavored soup. I use it for lunch or as a base to cook other things with. It is a vegan food. I recommend it highly.

not as good as I hoped

I love the McDougall food products, but this one didn’t quite measure up. It has an aftertaste that I didn’t enjoy. If you can find a single container to try first, I’d recommend doing that.
