Kids Say: Tastes better than most syrups
Anyway, here is the bottom line:
The syrup tastes better than maple syrup and the other commercial brands, at least according to my son. (I still prefer real maple syrup.)
The downside is that the IHOP brand is about $10 a bottle, making it about as expensive as real maple syrup. (We buy 32 oz. at BJs for $12.99.) I really can’t understand the high price because it is basically corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup — the same basic ingredients as Aunt Jamima syrup, which is about 1/4 of the price. But it tastes better than A.J. syrup.
