Not too long ago, Justin and Dave worked together at a little technology company. While on a business trip, they had the chance to sit down for dinner and eventually, the conversation turned to their mutual love of bacon. It was then that Justin told Dave about his idea for Bacon Salt. Dave loved the idea. And from that point forward, a partnership was struck to turn this bacon-flavored dream into a reality. In 2007, they tasted the first flavors of Bacon Salt, on Porterhouse steaks, mashed potatoes, eggs, corn and tomato soup – literally everything Dave could find to eat in his house. Everything was absolutely delicious. Now they bring their inventions to fellow bacon lovers everywhere. They started with 3 flavors of Bacon Salt – Original, Hickory and Peppered. Since then, they’ve found even more things to make taste like bacon. So, whether you’re a regular griller or a gourmet chef, are counting calories or are a vegetarian who craves mouth-watering bacon taste without the bacon guilt, this is what you’ve been waiting for.

because it isn’t bacon. It tastes like Baco’s, which don’t taste like bacon. I fail to understand how anyone who really loves bacon can be satisfied with an imitation.

as someone else already mentioned, if does get clumpy after it is opened, but it doesn’t affect the taste at all.
this stuff is delicious !
YES, YES, YES !!!
Recommend this, even if you are someone NOT watching your sodium intake. I even make sure I keep this in my car for whenever I eat out at some restaurant–much, much better than any other kind of salt combinations or spices. Wish the BACON SALT people would see about getting their product into places like: LONGHORN STEAK HOUSE, CHILI’s, APPLEBEES, BOB EVANS, OLIVE GARDEN, FUDDRUCKERS, etc. People would be placing orders for it like crazy!
Thanks, BACON SALT dudes!
Years ago, there used to be bacon and cheddar popcorn topping–well that disappeared, and for awhile I would just make my own with cheddar topping and bacon bits. Then I found this little miracle, and it is awesome. I’m sure you could use it for something else, but there is nothing better than dousing popcorn in butter, pouring this on, microwaving it for 30 seconds, and then enjoying a good old mystery movie.

This stuff is pretty good. I use it in a variety of things like popcorn, baked potatoes, mac and cheese etc. I like it because it’s not too salty or too smokey.
I bought this to flavor my popcorn a couple months ago. The flavor is very nice, not salty but very flavorful. I actually use it on other things besides popcorn. However, I will note that it tends to harden up while sitting in the cupboard. I have to use my “magic bullet” to re-grind the seasoning. It lasts for a while like that but not too long. Maybe its just the humidity during the summer that caused it, but it was upsetting that I had to break it all apart when I wanted to use it.
