Do you get a kiss when you buy this??? Go to your local Asian market and you will find high end Furikake for half the price. I just bought three, one nori, one wasabe and one salmon 2oz jars for a total of $6.99

I may still be able to use this mix if I pick out the sesame seeds, and it may make rice taste great, but I wish I had known there were whole sesame seeds in the mix.
I was ordering this from Amazon because this Nori Komi Furikake is so expensive in the small town I have moved to. You only get one little jar for almost $10. Its only $6 overpriced dollars where I live! So if you think you are getting a deal- probably not unless you truly live in the boonies.
I can’t say enough good things about this line of Furikake rice seasoning! I’ve tried all of the different flavors, and there’s not a bad one in the bunch. They really add perkiness to everything, and I find I use way less salt. Plus, the good news is there’s no MSG, a biggie for mew!
We use this topping in our family over asian style rice, but it can probably be used over any white-rice variety for some aditional flavor. It is delicious! And I am so happy it can be found on Amazon!
This is a combination of nori flakes, salt and sugar, Just add a little vinegar to short grain rice and you’ve got sushi rice. very convenient.
I’ve tried many brands and this one stands head and shoulders above them all for flavor (Label ID: Ajishima Foods, distributed by JFC International). Don’t be confused by all the varieties you see in Asian markets, and if you’re new to fishy tastes steer away from the bottles which list fish flakes in the ingredients! We always serve this with sticky Asian Rice and it’s been a hit with all our guests who Asian food palettes may not be as developed as ours…just realized this one is called Nori FUMI Furikake. The one I have is Nori Komi Furikake – ingredients listed: sesame seed, salt, sugar and seaweed. Suspect they are very similar.
I think this is one of the best types of furikake out there. It is simple and basic but very good. I don’t know why it is not being currently carried.
Excellent flavor, and a simple addition to your rice. I recommend this type of furikake over Wasabi Fumi and Seto.
The price is worth it for those of us who can’t get it locally. A little goes a long way, and this 1.7oz container has lasted us months. We have rice three or four times a week.

With a few shakes of this magical Japanese seasoning power, my okay rice transforms into a delicious, savory and filling dish.
I recommend sprinkling on a bowl of short grain brown rice. Enjoy with a steamy cup of genmaicha.

I recently discovered this seasoning at Foodland in Maui. It was used as a flavouring for a bento-box breakfast with steamy rice as a base, two slices of Spam, and scrambled eggs. The green of the seaweed was the colour that attracted me then the taste made me a fan of the Furikake.
I declared this delish dish as my new fav food and was not alone. I had to get to Foodland every day by 7:30am to beat the surfers to this delish dish. The Deli guy told me about the seaweed seasoning being Furikake – I brought home two bottles and am now delighted to find it on Amazon.

Such wonder flavors added to your home made sushi; but this stuff is expensive considering the size. However, I’d still buy it again.
This stuff is delicious. It will literally make your rice taste like a nori roll. Wish it was cheaper but it is what they say it is
My mother has been looking for this rice seasoning ever since we have moved to Pennsylvania. Im glad I was able to find this for her on Amazon. I bought two because I grew up putting this on my rice and I love it.

Rice is already good stuff, but this makes it delicious! My wife had looked everywhere for this seasoning and we finally found it here on Amazon. It makes your rice taste sweeter (it contains sugar) and gives it extra flavor. After using this, it would be hard to go back to eating rice without it. Tastes great on brown and white rice.
I was pleased with this purchase. It was my first purchase of rice seasoning – came from Japan in less than a week – Price is a little high for my budget but it is definitely worth it – makes Onigiri taste better.

First time I had Furikake was in Hawaii with rice and an egg! It was so good! Then couldn’t find it in the mainland and didn’t know what brand I had in Hawaii. Finally found this brand,,,,all the basic ingredients and the most important thing, NO MSG!!! I highly recommend it.
