Kernel Season’s Salt & Vinegar Popcorn Seasoning, 3.25 Ounce Shakers

matalic tasting

I tried the salt and vinegar on micro popcorn and am now about to dump all six.It is disgusting, kinda like a matallic taste.I love salt and vinegar crisps/chips but this stuff is nothing like that. Also the expiration date is August,2 months time. You would need an army of people using it to get through it by then. Also the salt content is 145 mg per 1/4 teaspoon. They recommend you use one capful which I measured as 4 teaspoons so each serving is actually 145 X 16 = 2320 mg. Not good.

Waste of money

Big disappointment since it tastes like plastic. Save your money this seasoning doesn’t taste like salt and vinegar. Wish they offered some type of refund on the unopened bottles.

Salt and Vinegar

I wasn’t happy with the flavor on this product…it wasn’t a natural taste. It was very bitter and doesn’t taste like I thought it would.. but the other flavors were GREAT!!

Awful Taste!

I really enjoy the Ranch seasoning by the same manufacturer, but this flavor is just plain bad (i.e., sickening). I wish I had paid more attention to the customer reviews before ordering a pack of 6. I won’t even finish one.

If I could give it negative stars, I would!

I was very excited about this product, then I recieved it! It tastes like metalic/ plastic. It’s a weird taste very hard to describe. It smells just as bad as it tastes. I’m upset and amazon said No Returns! I have contacted the manufacturer and am waiting to hear back. I hope I didn’t just throw money in the garbage which is exactly where this product is going if they don’t take it back.

DON’T BUY IT!!!

I wish there were more reviews online before I purchased this disgusting product. It’s absolutely non-edible. This is nothing like salt & vinegar chips. Even the fumes of the product burned my nostrils like I was adding a cleaning product to my food and not a seasoning. I wish I could return the unused bottles or provide negative stars as a rating. I hope they’ve stopped selling it. I’ve tried many kernel seasonings and this is the first one I can’t stand.

this is a very poor quality product…

The seasoning does not stick to popcorn it just sinks to the bottom of the bowl. And its such a fine dust that I just breathe it in and choke every time I try to eat the popcorn. And it tastes bad. This product really is no good, do not buy it. I want my money back 🙁

Does this product really deserve another 1-star review? Yes it does.

Believe everything you read here, folks. This stuff really IS that bad. The product smelled rancid from the moment it was opened and did not taste any better. What’s worse, you can’t help inhaling the stuff when you sprinkle it over your popcorn and it BURNS your nose and throat. For this reason, you might consider using it as a means of self-defense should you run out of pepper spray. Either that, or you can sprinkle it in the garden as a critter repellent. All I know is you can’t eat it. I actually purchased the product a while ago, before anyone had posted any reviews about it. Had these 1-star reviews existed at the time of my purchase, I can assure you that I would have never placed the order. Just out of curiosity, I visited this page to see if any reviews had been posted since my purchase to find out if I was alone in my initial assessment of it. I see now that I definitely was not. Kernel Season’s, please discontinue all sales of this toxic dust.
