I decided to try these marshmallows because I make rice cereal treats a lot and I wanted to cut back on my sugar intake. I used half La Nouba and half regular marshmallows. The outcome had the same texture as previous treats but were significantly less sweet. La Nouba has a marshmallow texture and even melts better than regular marshmallows, but the taste is a bit bland. Since I wasn’t blown away with La Nouba, I’ll spend my money on something else next time. If I’m going to pay over $4 for 10 marshmallows they need to tast good.
I can not stress enough how good these are. Our family was challenged with putting together a low-calorie/sugar-free SMORES kit. They tasted great, melted great. If you are looking for a sugar-free marshmallow. This is the one you should buy!
I was looking for a recipe for sugar free marshmallows, when I found these already available to order. They arrived quickly and are delicious. I have eaten them alOne and used them in hot chocolate and love them.

We have tried two other “natural” marshmallows and these tasted just as good, if not better! They have no sugar, so we appreciate that they are still mildly sweet. The chocolate covered marshmallows are absolutely incredible 🙂 My husband could not tell the difference with the pink coloring being covered, as he just popped the chocolate covered one in his mouth. These are as good as homemade with agave nectar, but are firmer so they stay on my marshmallow sticks. Thank you for selling this great product that not even Whole Foods carries.

I was delighted to find a low-carb marshmallow available so that I wouldn’t have to make it from scratch. Since being diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes last year, I’ve had to find substitutes to enable me to continue baking and candy-making, a hobby that I not only enjoy doing, but which allows me to indulge my sweet tooth without violating my strict low-carb diet.
The previous reviewer found these marshmallows to be bland because they aren’t sweet enough. I have the opposite need. I’m trying to find less sweet products since I prefer my baked goods and candy (!!) less sweet than most people. This used to be trickier when I wasn’t seriously limiting my carbs as well as sugars. Now, I am absolutely delighted to find the variety and quality of sugar-free supplies available and my confections and baked goods are even better than ever using modified ingredients and recipes.
I highly recommend this marshmallow product for eating out of hand, as well as for baking and confection making. They are much less sweet for plain eating, a quality I admire and for which I aspire when making from scratch, and as for confection making or baking, the addition of a high quality vanilla extract more than makes up for the mild taste. Indeed, I find it refreshing that the marshmallow takes on the flavors of the other ingredients I add to the recipe. THAT to me is the perfect marshmallow. AND, I don’t have to make it from scratch, a satisfying enough task in itself, but time consuming. When all I want is to have some available to quickly whip up a dessert or confection, it’s wonderful to have such a ready-made, high quality, no-junk ingredient on hand. And, for the amount of product, the $13.99 plus shipping for 6 packages is VERY affordable, and really not that expensive. Since they are so light, stock up with more than one order (of 6 packages each) to save a little bit on the shipping. It’s a good buy, especially if you remember that what you put into your body is what your body is made of. The inexpensive grocery store marshmallow is definitely not half as good for you.
