We found this pearl sugar after looking at a recipe in a King Arthur Flour Catalog. It seems to be quite a bit cheaper then what you would pay at most specialty shops. My wife uses it with Swedish Braided Bread. Good stuff.
Great for baking!
This is a great product for your baking needs. It has higher melting point compare to regular table sugar so it’s great for daily baking. Since this has larger granules than regular, you can use less sugar and still get the sweetness in your baking.
Wonderful Cookie Garnish
Whenever I make Aunt Martha’s ginger cookies, I take a marble-size piece of dough, dip it in water and then in Lars’ Pearl Sugar. When it bakes, the sugar stays like snowflakes on top of the cookie and provides a wonderful crunch when you eat it. I get all sorts of compliments when I use this sugar. It can be put on any butter cookie you make. Lovely addition for the holidays.
