I love these packets. They’re amazingly easy to use. I usually buy 1.25 lbs or somewhere near there of hamburger meat (I prefer lean 93/7, but the 80/20 is probably OK), and I use two of these taco packets. I really love these things. I think that I’m usually able to find them cheaper in the grocery store than the prices listed here. You may want to try one packet in the meat, let it cook, taste it, and then add the other packet if you think it needs it. There’s also the mild version and a spicy version that you may like more than this. I’m not the type of person to like terribly spicy food.

I think they’ve changed the image on the taco packets. I haven’t tried the ones with the new image, and I can’t comment as to whether or not there is a difference in flavor. As far as I can tell, there shouldn’t be a difference in flavor. If they’re too expensive, Walmart started making Great Value packets that are cheaper and comparable in taste. I also love the Thick and Zesty Spaghetti Mix that they make. I haven’t tried others, but they may be worth it. I’d really only buy these on sale, though.
