This stuff is awesome! I have a restaurant and when i take this to gatherings people always ask me for the recipe! Doesn’t last next day, too dry. Usually not a problem because there are no left overs.
I absolutely love this pasta salad. I first tried it in Ohio, at my moms wedding reception, and its like crack in a box! Very addictive! Couldnt find it here in Hawaii where i live, so I turned to Amazon, now I have it delivered regularly to my home!
My wife and I love this Suddenly Salad and living in a rural area it is impossible to find for some reason. Finding it on Amazon was a very pleasent surprise.
Love this product. I am from the southern part of the state and purchased it in the northern part of the state. Have been looking for it for 4 months. I added small chunks of avocado and it was awesome. Easy to make and the variety of items you could add is unlimited.
I like the convenience and taste of all Suddenly Salad products. However, this Chipotle Ranch is my favorite. It has just the right amount of “zing” without going overboard. It’s creamy and flavorful. It didn’t take my family long to go through a pack of 12! I highly recommend it!
I just ordered my 3rd case! Our local store use to carry it until last year. Glad I found it here on Amazon.
I like to doctor up the instructions and recipe. Someone mentioned the cooking time, I just cook the pasta until it is al-dente. Also when you strain the water from the pasta, I use a fine mesh metal strainer so I don’t loose any of the pasta mix.
As far as rinsing in cold water, I prefer to go right to the bowl hot, skip the milk and mayo and mix the packet using sour cream and serving it warm.
We love this product with 1 lb of ground beef cooked with taco seasoning and 12-16 oz of “fresh tomato salsa” added to the mix.
However, the package directions create awful, mushy pasta. I boiled gently to moderately for only 9 minutes (rather than the instructed 15) and immediately chilled the pasta under cold running water. It was perfect – not too firm or floppy.
I miss this in the local grocery stores; am tempted to stock up in case Amazon runs out, as well…
We love this pasta salad but the local grocery says it’s been discontinued causing our whole family to be sad.
