When I received the product, the item said “spread” and not “tapenade”. So, I wrote email to parthenon and received no response to find out if this was the same. I mentioned the instructions on the jar also said I had to add oil every time used and wondered if this was also true. I will not buy from them again. Thanks but no thanks. Alice Jeanne Matsinger
